CHICKEN KABOBS
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts diced
1 red bell pepper roughly diced
1 squash sliced about 1/4 inch thick
12 grape or cherry tomatoes
1 red onion roughly diced
1 tsp Montreal steak seasoning
Place chicken and veggies on a bamboo or stainless steel skewer alternating meat and veggies until the skewer is full. Place on grill on medium heat. Rotate the skewers every 3 to 4 minutes until all 4 sides of meat and veggies are cooked.
Steak kabobs follow the same theory as chicken but use New york or ribeye steak.
FRUIT KABOB'S
we used mangos, strawberries, watermelon and Crenshaw melons.
Other fruit we use sometimes is pineapple, papaya, cantaloupe, honeydew and plums.
But you can use whatever fruit you like. Also if you want to make it an even sweeter treat you can sprinkle a little sugar on top of the fruit.
Can't wait to hear how you like this weeks recipes.

The big apple (New york steak topped with carmalized apples)
Sorry about the interruption in weekly posts. We have been experiencing some (a gross understatement) Internet issues. Had the repair man out yesterday and after two hours we should be good to go.
We went with a simple recipe but with 4 star results.
Ingredients
4 New york steaks
Montreal Steak Seasoning
2 Fuji (or whatever kind you prefer) apples diced
1 tablespoon of butter
1 tablespoon of sugar
STEP 1: Simply place the steaks on the BBQ at medium heat
STEP 2: Season with Montreal Steak Seasoning
STEP 3: Cook to desired done-ness
***Prepare the caramelized apples***

***Prepare the caramelized apples***
STEP 1: Place the butter in saute pan over medium heat until melted
STEP 2: Add diced apples to melted butter and saute until the apples are slightly translucent
STEP 3: Turn off heat and add sugar. Mix the apples with the butter and sugar combination until they are well coated
STEP 4: Place the apples on top of the steak and serve
We devoured ours paired with mashed potatoes and some fresh strawberries.
Now for the best part, try it yourself and enjoy!!!!
